WP-Client v.3.5.1

We are happy to announce the release of WP-Client v.3.5.1! Included in this update are several exciting new features, a few tweaks and bug fixes, several new functionality improvements, as well as two highly requested feature requests.

The biggest addition in this newest release is our new file upload system we have deemed the “uberLOADER”. This feature represents the natural evolution of our existing HTML5 file uploader. The uberLOADER has many highly requested features, including drag-n-drop from desktop uploading, and the biggest addition: file chunking. This should allow both you and your clients to upload very large files, and overcome most typical server/hosting constraints that may be in place. In our testing of the uberLOADER, we were able to upload files in excess of 700MB with no issues, directly from the browser. The uberLOADER can be selected as your default file uploader from WP-Client File Sharing settings.

We have also added the ability to include a Terms & Conditions on your Client Registration Form. The feature will display as a checkbox and a hyperlink on the registration form, allowing you to link your clients to any URL you desire to view your Terms & Conditions for registering. This feature can be turned on in WP-Client Clients/Staff settings. Additionally, you will need to choose the “Reset to Default” option for the Client Registration shortcode template in order for the new features to be available.

In addition to these new features, this release also aims to resolve a few reported issues related to searching for and approving clients, and a rare issue related to WPC-Admins not receiving email notifications regarding private messages. A few other minor bugs are addressed as well, in addition to the normal streamlining.
