WP-Client v.3.5.0

We are happy to announce the release of WP-Client v.3.5.0! Included in this update are several exciting new features, as well as a few tweaks and bug fixes.

One of the major additions is the option to allow “double opt-in” for client self-registration. This allows your clients to register themselves using the Client Registration Form as normal, but they will then need to verify their email address through an automatic email notification after registration. This is in an effort to make WP-Client compatible with some country’s spam and marketing regulations, as well as improve the workflow of your client portal.

Another important new feature is the ability to disable and enable various WP-Client email notifications at your discretion. Each of the email notification templates now have checkboxes next to them, allowing you to simply uncheck the box of the notifications that you do not want to send. This allows you to further customize the plugin to fit your particular needs. The email templates remain completely customizable as well, allowing you to design your desired email notifications however you would like.

In addition to these new features, this release also aims to resolve a few reported issues related to the newest WordPress 3.9 update, and issues related to WPC-Admins not receiving email notifications. A few other minor bugs are addressed as well, in addition to the normal streamlining.
