You can easily use WP-Client WordPress Client Area Plugin to create custom private photo galleries for your clients.  Simply add the client, and they will automatically receive an email with their login information and link to the login page.  They are then automatically redirected to their private gallery or galleries.

You can use any existing gallery plugin that you are familiar with by simply inserting the shortcode(s) into the pages created by the plugin.
